February 24th, Bob Stevens, a graduate of the University of Vermont will be presenting the ‘Role of the Engineer in Society’ sharing his personal experience as an engineer, commercial property owner, and civic-minded community leader. This interactive workshop with students will discuss the pivotal event that inspired Bob to merge engineering with development to create a model for initiating and funding downtown revitalization projects.

S&A Welcomes Bob Crego, Project Manager To Their Team
Stevens & Associates welcomes Bob Crego to their team as a Project Manager for Development. Crego brings with him over 25 years of professional experience in the community development field, largely as an affordable housing developer. In addition to his role as the founding director for Valley Cares, Inc. in Townshend, VT, Crego’s past experience includes organizational and project development, financing management, grant writing, and business planning. He is currently working on several projects in development, including the redevelopment of a four-acre block of land and historic building at the Four Corners in Bennington. Known as the Putnam Block Redevelopment, the project would consist of mixed use downtown space with offices, retail, and apartments.

Stevens & Associates welcomes Anna Black to their team as Project Coordinator for Development. Joining us from sunny California, Black brings with her over 17 years of professional experience including 11 in marketing and communications in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
As Project Coordinator for Development, Black will be involved with all aspects of project coordination, financing development, and overall project management. Her communication, organizational, research, and spreadsheet skills will be an essential resource when working with budgets, pro formas, and project management. Black is currently assisting with the renovation of a historic downtown block, an industrial facility, and several other southern Vermont projects.
