Stevens & Associates provided structural design and construction document services for the Tree House Brewing Company project in Charlton, MA. This rapidly growing company is dedicated to the spirit of craft brewing. Tree House sought out S&A for structural design and construction document services to expand their existing space into a larger facility that will accommodate their increased demand for brewing and bottling. In addition, the new facility includes a dedicated public and retail space for their clientele and is located on a large open site that has the potential for future expansion. The project consists of a 43,000 square-foot tall single-story structure with an 8,200 square-foot mezzanine including structural steel framing over a concrete foundation that is partially built into grade along the south elevation. The exterior façade consists of structural metal panels and accent glass curtain walls. Within the footprint of the building, a structural steel catwalk provides access to all the brewing equipment and a timber framed structure greets visitors at the main entrance.
