Stevens & Associates was hired to renovate the courtyard of the historic Equinox Hotel and Spa. The redesign of the courtyard was part of a $20 million dollar makeover of the hotel in 2008.
The courtyard, a gathering place for weddings and events, was upgraded with new walkways, plantings, lighting and storm drainage. The project included an expansive new deck with oversized stone fire pit, furniture and handicap ramp. The project required an accelerated timeline to minimize disruption to hotel operations and specific timing of construction season without impacting scheduled events.
