Planning & design solutions need community buy-in to be sustainable. Design charettes are an excellent way to build consensus for public projects and are just one of the planning services we offer, along with feasibility studies, site selection studies, project prospectus, public campaign liason, federal environmental assessments, and environmental permitting. Featured Projects: Route 30 Traffic Calming This study resulted in conceptual traffic calming plans for four towns and a guidebook outlining an approval process for the state transportation authority. CT River Rail With Trail This study considered a new trail and resulted in a state-wide prototype for combining pedestrian and bicycle pathways with active rail lines. Middlebury Transportation Center This study looked into the siting and feasibility of a new multi-modal transportation center using extensive public participation.
