Stevens & Associates developed a campus plan for the Brattleboro Union High School, Middle School, and Southeastern Vermont Career Education Center. The site design fosters pedestrian access and safety while maintaining vehicular through traffic. Traffic calming measures slow vehicle speed, control driver decision points and provide safer locations for pedestrian crossings.

A separate entrance for the attached Middle School lends it a distinct identity and provides for organized drop-offs, while an adjacent site houses the more space-intensive Career Center Annex. This project employed a systematic process to evaluate alternatives for sustainable site and building design.
