Structural Engineer

Stevens & Associates, a growing architecture and engineering firm, seeks an experienced Structural Engineer. This position requires thorough knowledge of structural design and engineering techniques. Responsible for planning and conducting independent work in the evaluation and application of engineering procedures and criteria. Will prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes. Must have VT PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months. Architectural Summer Intern

The Intern will work with architectural designers and project managers to draft and design technical drawings and makes modifications, as needed. Provide project administration support (record keeping, faxing, transmitting, copying, packaging drawings, filing, etc.).
Required Knowledge and skills include:
• Familiarity with building systems, codes and ADA requirements.
• Working knowledge of working drawing techniques and procedures.
• Working knowledge of design principles and practices.
• Advanced AutoCAD/ADT skills.
• Advanced ReVit knowledge.
The applicant should be in a Masters of Architecture program or Architectural Technician student.
